After the 4th, I was planning on coming back to Boone right away... but the rain wasn't co-operating.. so, I had to end up hanging out at home for a few days until the rain blew over... but, I got to spend some quality time with dad at the shop..
This is a bike that dad just sold a few weeks ago. The owner lost it mid-corner, bent the forks, the frame, and basically totalled the bike. He actually rode the bike home, and managed to get away with just a few flesh wounds.
You can see how the forks aren't exactly straight in this first picture...
and in this one, you can see that the steering neck is bent. The bolt in the horn bracket is basically dead center in the frame. That is where the bottom of the triple tree bolt should line up.
